the Kiwanis Club of Tallahassee’s Northside
Our Club’s History
Chartered in 1972, the Kiwanis Club of Tallahassee Northside has been a dependable provider of community service for over 50 years. In the 1980s, we partnered with the Florida Department of Transportation and the Tallahassee Police Department to create a citywide bicycle rodeo, teaching young people how to be safe on their bicycles. Our club has also led projects to increase childhood immunizations and was a major fundraiser for the children’s wing at the Leon County Public Library’s downtown branch. Our club is proudly affiliated with the Florida District of Kiwanis and is a member of Kiwanis Division 3, a collection of clubs serving Leon, Gadsden, Jefferson, Madison and Taylor Counties.
The Kiwanis Mission & Vision
Kiwanis International is a global organization of members dedicated to serving the children of the world. Kiwanis and its family of clubs, including Circle K, Key Club, Builders Club, K-Kids and Aktion Club, dedicate more than 18 million service hours each year to strengthen communities and serve children. Our motto is simple: “Serving the children of the world”.
Our Leadership (2025 – 2026)
Our club is led by a dedicated team of officers who volunteer their time to lead our service and fundraising efforts.
